1–1 Support Sessions (Ages 5–15)

Our 1–1 sessions offer focused, personalised support for children and young people who would benefit from short term work around a specific challenge. Each piece of work is tailored to the individual and built around clear goals that matter to them.

What we can support

Our sessions can help with a wide range of needs, including (but not limited to):

• School related worries such as anxiety, confidence with attending, or classroom overwhelm
• Building and maintaining friendships
• Understanding social cues and navigating tricky peer situations
• Managing big emotions and developing regulation tools
• Confidence, self esteem and identity
• Coping with change, transitions or new routines
• Problem solving everyday challenges at home, school or in the community
• Developing independence skills and building resilience
• Supporting communication, expressing needs and understanding feelings

How sessions work

Goal focused: We agree clear aims with the child or young person so they understand what we’re working towards.
Tailored: Sessions are shaped around their interests, communication style and pace.
Practical: We use creative, play based and strengths based approaches to build real life skills.
Flexible: Sessions can take place in the community, outdoors or in a quiet indoor space.

Who it’s for
